3M™ Double Coated Urethane Foam Tape 4016 is a thick, double-coated open-cell urethane foam tape with a 62 lb. densified kraft paper liner and is ideal for applications such as mounting interior signage and nameplates. Its 62 mil foam provides handling convenience and cushioning.

Open-cell foams are commonly used to create separation between component panels where a degree of separation is needed to dampen or prevent vibration, as a thermal insulation barrier and protect against contamination, but where a measure of airflow is still necessary, such as with electronic components where airflow helps keep components cool.
